Acis, current as of: 14 June 2022.
On 14 June 2022, Acis released an updated SMSF Deed for:
• SMSFs that are subscribed to Acis SuperDepot;
• new SMSF orders; and
• SMSF upgrade orders.
The Deed combines technical improvements with practical efficiencies and guidance to simplify the governance of SMSFs. A detailed summary of changes can be found here.
As always, in the process of updating our Deed, we employed the expertise of our national panel comprising inhouse and specialist SMSF lawyers, administrators, planners and accountants, who bring to the table their collective understanding of the full SMSF sphere.
For SMSFs that are subscribed to SuperDepot, there is nothing to do. Those funds will automatically adopt the new Deed.
If your funds are not subscribed to SuperDepot, this is an ideal opportunity to consider upgrading your deeds.
As always, our legal team is here to help if you have any queries.
